I have decided to set up this blog so that I can keep my attempts at drawing and painting in one place. I have not done much over the last several years, but recently have picked up my pencils again and am feeling inspired.
I know that I have a long way to go and would certainly not consider myself an artist, but I hope to improve as time goes by and I certainly hope to enjoy myself!!
If you like any of my stuff, do please leave a comment. If you don't like it... well, you've probably stopped reading by now anyway!!

ReplyDeleteHi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteI'm writing a piece about pointe shoes and I remembered your wonderful drawings here of shoes. I wondered whether you had one or two that you might be happy for me to use with the article ? I've got about a week before publication.
Ideally I'd love a really brightly coloured shoe that stands out on the page and catches your eye - maybe in deep mauve or pink, plus a more traditional one such as the one you have drawn above.
What do you think ?
You are very talented. I think what you capture so well is movement. Your art is very dynamic.
ReplyDeleteYou are one very talented lady Sarah! Keep it up, it's brilliant and a joy to look at xx
